I have lived in Citrus County for most of my life, yet I have never been here. I was definitely missing out on something great! The experience was incredible and the service was top-notch. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home. I can't wait to try other things on the menu, as I heard that the dinner is amazing. Our next visit is definitely going to be for dinner! Thank you so much for providing us with such a great experience. I'll definitely recommend this place to everyone I know!

I've been wanting to stop here forever because the reviews seemed to be great. I have to admit I was not very happy. I feel bad even saying it. But the hamburger was very small, the serving of fries consisted of 7 small pieces of potato. It came with an order of beans, about 1/8 of a cup in one of those containers they sometimes serve ketchup or tartar sauce in. I asked for grill onions on my burger and when it arrived, it had four onion rings stacked on it. I thought that was odd. All the food tasted good, but the bill was $18.02, and with the tip, I paid $21 and i just really feel it wasn't worth that. Items in the photo appear larger than they actually were.

It was our first visit to Socos & we were pleasantly surprised. It is a small restaurant, but the food and service were excellent. We had a group of four & one of our party had to send their blackened grouper sandwich back. It was so chewy that it couldn't even be cut with a knife. The waitress was so nice and brought out another grouper sandwich that was perfect and deducted it from our bill. Those kind of things happen occasionally & because of the way it was handled and the rest of our food being way above average, we definitely will be returning. The desserts are phenomenal & we heard the chef does "specials" on Fridays, but it is reservations only. It's definitely worth trying this restaurant, you will never meet a nicer family who run the restaurant. Highly recommend.
