I don't usually post reviews, but this was such a cute space and the service here is AMAZING!! They have delicious coffee drinks and their french toast is really well done! The texture is light and creamy and the flavour is familiar, like a cinnamon bread pudding, yet unique with the plum jam filling. It's satisfying without feeling too heavy or too sweet. Highly recommend checking this place out!

we had the worst experience on saturday brunch. Ordered eggs florentine and ricotta pancakes. The pancakes were okay but the eggs florentine was so so bad, the mushrooms on it really smelled weird. We only took 2-3 bites and put that aside as we just couldn’t eat it. The server inquired the reasoning and we shared our concerns in detail. She took the dish inside to the chef. I would have expected to not pay for such an ill tasting dish but the server still charged us full for the that too. It just felt like the server did not give any care about us as customers. Would never go again.

nice and chic brunch place located just off Landsdowne subway station, we arrived around 11ish and there were two tables left. the server was very welcoming and attentive. our drinks were full bodied, (not watered down matcha’s) and came fairly quickly. both dishes we ordered were delicious, the eggs benedict was a great take on a brunch staple. the sauce and beef alongside the eggs made for a great combination. for the pancakes, they were also extremely delicious, the earl gray mascarpone was divine! overall great brunch at Solkatt! we ordered the cheeky eggs benedict and the ricotta pancakes (the earl gray mascarpone cream, blood orange marmalade and pear jam), a matcha latte and a cappuccino it came to about $50 just for the food.

Stumbled across Solkatt after exiting the subway looking for some brunch. The cafe is really cute, the coffee + breakfast were amazing, and the staff were extremely nice. Only piece of feedback is the poached eggs were a bit runny for my preference, but I still basically licked the plate clean! Will definitely be back

Their eggs florentine with oyster mushrooms is transcendental. Make sure you have lots of time as the place gets packed for brunch, understandably! Fast, kind service- good portions- great choices and veggie options.
