Leaving a review as I’d never been to a laundrette before so this might help someone else who’s never been. The washing machines are coin operated and come in different sizes. Per load, the small was £5, medium £7, and big £8. You can use laundry pods or powder and the wash takes about half an hour. I didn’t use the dryer but they’re quite big and cost about £2. The lady working there today was very friendly and helpful and on hand to give change if you only had notes. Good service, but a bit pricey hence 4 stars.

Today the Southwick Launderette was open till 6pm but only manned till 2 PM. I got there at 1:45 PM. I put my washing in the machine and started to put the money in. I realized I was £1 short. I asked the Launderette attendant for a £1 coin in exchange for 2 x 50p coins. “Sorry I’m closing”. Nothing was closed, the back and front office were open and the hatch was still open and it was now 1.50pm. “But you are still open, I only want one £1 coin, please” “I can’t, I’m closing” She seriously wouldn’t give me one!!!

The staff are friendly and very helpful. I needed some support and the staff were there to help me all the way through. I would recommend to use this service. I would use them again.
