Loved this trail and so did the pups! Lots of places for the dogs to swim and tons of room to run and chase a ball. We explored the trail until the end (private property) and we walked about 4 miles total. Easy trail, but some loose rock areas and in February there was lots of mud. Would recommend waterproof boots with tread if you’re looking to go down to the water’s edge. A quiet, relaxing walk where the dogs were able to burn off a ton of energy and we met so many friendly people and dogs along the way. We saw a mated pair of Bald Eagles and watched them snag fish from the neighborhood pond. It was spectacular!
Nice wide paths, very well kept. Mostly in the shade, so very pleasant on a warm day.
Lovely dirt trail along the Boise river. Perfect for taking the dog for a walk, with plenty of trash cans along the trail so you don't have to carry doggie bags the whole way. Nice views of the river and opportunities to spot wildlife, especially birds.
