Ordered El Pastor tacos and my buddy ordered chili cheese fries and for the price that you end up paying for this food is spectacular! Tacos only costed $6 dollars and the fries costed $13. For the tacos to be at a decent price on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, they also tasted pretty decent as well. Overall a neat little restaurant with decent food for its price. Not the best I've had but not bad at all price wise.
The food was good but nothing compared to El Taco Veloz which when you Google it takes you here. I thought they just relocated but it looks like it's now totally a new spot. Had the carne asada fries and I'd get them again if I came here.
Ninety nine cent tacos on tuesdays and wednesdays I love the food. They can get really busy on those days expect a wait. There is a drive through that. They seem to tend to more than the indoor customers. We love to sit outside on their little patio but the bees were around.
Sadly this place has lost it’s magic. It was to best in town when it was a food cart off of evens. Then they moved to a building and lost footing a bit. But over the years its completely lost its magic and should change its name completely. It no longer deserves to be called a Taco River
We do the drive-through for their Taco Tuesday (which includes Wednesday.) The one-dollar tacos are the al pastor and carnitas. Both are amazing, and well-worth the regular price of $2.50. The tacos come with onion/cilantro pico, red and green salsa, and a nicely roasted jalapeno. We feel a bit guilty about always getting enough food for three people for under seven dollars, and plan to eat inside soon. We want to try the tortas.
