Great chips from here, nice and crisp and not greasy. The fish was nice but the batter was fairly greasy, quite thick and was a bit soggy / underdone in places. The large cod was freshly cooked to order but it looked like they kept a small cod in the warmer pre-cooked so I avoided that. Large cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.40 (cash only). Good size portions.

Haddock and chips only £9.20 and it tastes really fresh and delicious. Fish is massive. Owners are friendly, family business. Quick waiting time. Would defos come back

Have been using Terry Lings for many years. Food is usually 10/10 occasionally the ribs can be dry. They always greet you with a smile. Timings can sometimes be unreliable, taking longer than expected but worth the wait. Best for Chinese in Woodley. Have them stored ad one of my contacts.
