Great place to stop! We showed up for an early lunch just after opening so it wasn’t busy at all yet. I really should pay more attention to the names of the people serving us because our waiter really was quite funny and so nice…laughing all the time and telling us funny stories. I wasn’t overly hungry so had decided on the coconut soup with prawns but then spied papaya salad! Always get papaya salad! So delicious and a little spicy (by about mouthful 3, more spicy ????) The soup was equally as good…beautiful flavour. My hubby had the cashew chicken and said it was delicious. I highly recommend a visit here if you’re in the area. If you’re not, take a road trip!
Thai Pinto was the first place my fiancee and I dined out on the Island. It is by far our favourite place to eat out. Great service, amazing spring rolls (so crunchy and home made fresh daily) and wonderful flavour. You can tell they put a lot of love into their food! Highly recommend #7 and #21
Phenomenal food. If you like Thai, don't miss out on this place! Got take out...ready in no time. Quaint little restaurant. I'll be going back for sure. Yum!
We had such good food today from Thai Pinto! We tried the drunken noodles. Great spice, really delish, lots of vegetables cooked perfectly. They used ramen noodles in the dish, which was a bit of a surprise, but we have seen in BC, restaurants don't serve the flat rice noodles. Nevertheless, it was fantastic, and I will order it again! As the other reviews said, the owner is super friendly. They were very welcoming and helpful. This restaurant is also super cute inside. Love it!
This was recommended by a local resident. Did not disappoint. I ordered the coconut chicken soup, which hit the spot on a cold day. Very reasonable rates.
