Louise and the staff are great and are doing a really good job of trying to make something of this local. It's good to see that the effort is paying off, as it seems to be getting busier and busier over recent weeks, especially now that food is being offered. There always seems to be something going on, whether it be Jam night on Thursdays, disco/karaoke/singers at weekends, quiz and bingo on Tuesday's or biker night Wednesday. Whatever is going on, we always feel welcome and at home. In fact, I think our dog thinks it's our 2nd home ???? As they say, use it or lose it!

There's a nice friendly atmosphere at The Angel. Sunday roast and a pint for £10.95 was good value. Dining area is clean, light and spacious with pleasant views over the garden . The meat and vegetables were nicely prepared and hot. Dining room was full by 12.30 so obviously popular. Recommended.

Laughable, id go here if you’re looking to get absolutely rinsed…as soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a lovely smell. most drinks watered down and 1.5x price. £130 for a buffet and only had about £20 worth on the table(apparently went over budget and asked for more money lol) there was about 10 undercooked chicken legs that looked fresh out of the packet and one pizza cut into about 40 slices. Staff looked as bad as the pint glasses, absolutely loppy. Genuinely cant believe how someone can run an event that bad, madness. Glad i made it home

My sister had her wedding do here and it was a Great atmosphere from the moment we came in landlady even came and introduced herself and was so frendly as was all the staff was served basically straight away with drinks and the food was a good standard too lots of different choices for sandwiches and savery items and was plenty to go around,enjoyed by all! Thankyou again to all the staff at angel x

I have not been in this pub for a long time, as it was a dive. It has been redecorated and no longer smells like it did. There was a group on tonight, and they were very good. The only shame about the pub was the absolutely vile coke on tap that they sell. I ordered a vodka and coke and left it as it was vile. This pub needs to put in some decent coke. Until it does my ftiends and myself won't be back in again.
