We got seated quickly. Our service was great. Food was delicious. Would definitely return.
We visit "The Pullman Bay Restaurant" in Celina, at least once a week for a nice breakfast...the waitresses have always been very friendly to us...great coffee and food... love their homemade pies... A beautiful view of the lake, is a bonus... This restaurant is now called "The Bay"
This place has some beautiful scenic views while you enjoy your food. I had the Captain Ryely sandwich along with broasted potatoes and a slice of peanut butter pie. The broasted potatoes were perfect, no part of them would I consider undercooked. The sandwich was quite tasty as well. There was a slight sweetness to it and the mustard sauce was really good as well. The pie crust was flaky, the meringue was also very good. The star was obviously the filling. It was one of the best peanut butter pies I had. The staff seemed a bit rushed, potentially more people on board would help. That said, the staff was amazing and very friendly.
Great breakfast selection. Tried the Western omelette. Cooked perfectly. Friend had eggs Benedict. Very good. Coffee cup stayed full. Excellent service. Another breakfast there weeks later. Same great experience. Revisited 9/28/23 for lunch. Really good chili soup made thicker than normal the way I love it. Bacon cheeseburger with the works was delicious. Fries were hot and crispy. Since the remodel, the floor plan is basically the same but the place looks more up to date than before. Biggest improvement is the restrooms which were tiny before. Now they are spacious and very clean. Ann was our waitress and her service was phenomenal. Very attentive and friendly. They also have the best pie around but I had no room for any this time. Next time I will indulge for sure. The only minor issue would be the sound inside. We had a large table with 5 or 6 older ladies next to us who talked very loudly and would laugh so loud we could not hear our own conversation. Not sure this is The Bay's issue as much as the other customers who need to limit their volume. Maybe some acoustic panels would help mitigate the noise level.
Went at decent time, sat for 30 minutes before getting drink order. Sat for another 20 minutes before they asked what I wanted for food. Ended up having to leave due to schedule
