Visited whilst on holiday, had pre booked earlier same day for a party of 6 plus a dog. Was made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff. We could either sit in the bar or use the seating in the beer garden, we chose the latter as it was such a warm evening. Our order included burger, steaks and hunters chicken with extra sides, we was pre warned of a waiting time but we were happy to wait. The food all tasted great and very good value for money. Was nice that the landlady came and spent time after our meals to have a chat. Good luck with everything, will look you up again next time we're in Shropshire.

If you like home cooking, big portions and quality food, you must visit here. Proper hand cut chips, the steak was lovely! A quiet unassuming pub but well worth a visit

Best little pub iv been to, it was in the real ale trail for all those who like a decent well looked after pint. Proper pub grub at a proper decent price. Get yourself over there people.
