We turned up unannounced on a Sunday at 12pm and requested a table for 2.30pm as we had a walk planned in the local area. The staff were extremely welcoming and agreed to fit us in even though they had a table of 10 at the same time. One very tiring and wet walk later we returned to the pub and once again were given an amazingly warm welcome and shown to our table. My wife is gluten free and the chef went to the lengths of preparing her a gluten free cauliflower cheese, gravy and yorkshire pudding to enjoy as part of her meal - amazing! The food was fantastic and the staff were even better, we will definitely be back again and will recommend the pub to family and friends . . . . . . just don't ask Buster to pour you a Guiness! ;-)
We called in for a drink yesterday and after an entertaining chat with Raymond at the bar we thought let's give the food a go and booked a table for this evening. It really couldn't have gone any better than it did. The welcome from the staff is genuine as they clearly want you to enjoy your time there. I ordered the garlic king prawn starter followed by fish & chips and my wife ordered the garlic chicken pasta dish. The whole meal was excellent and a credit to the chef, particularly the breaded fish and the curry sauce. I haven't had fish and chips as good as this for a long long time. We've been travelling round the south coast for the last couple of weeks and eating out most days. I can honestly say the Cadeleigh Arms is doing something different with a real feel of standards and service you sadly don't see that often these days. Well done to all involved. ps if you're going to give it a try be sure to book ahead
Never wrote a review before, but felt compelled to this time.... Probably the most friendliest and most welcoming pub we've ever been to!! Big family walk on Easter Sunday, and stumbled across this pub. Stopped for a drink and ended up a fantastic sunday roast, a few drinks and a few games of pool. Staff were amazing and the food was delicious. Definitely popping back before the holiday is over.
Wonderful meal here at Cadeleigh Arms but what really sets it apart is the staff! Raymond and the waitress were absolutely amazing, made us feel so so welcome and such a nice close atmosphere. Will definitely be back ????
Our first visit to The Cadeleigh Arms for a Wedding Anniversary meal. As they are so dog friendly, we also took along our pooch, Tripp. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and made to feel extremely welcome. A fantastic menu and the quality of the food was terrific, with most ingredients sourced locally. Also they have a great wine list and an extensive list of guns and other drinks. Tripp loved his liver and veg supper The staff and owners deserve high praise. It is the best pub we have visited for a long, long time and will definitely be back there soon
