Went here today for the first time. This is a very cozy British pub with a good friend. We had a very nice Irish waitress. We had the Fish and chips (halibut) which had been very tasty!! The fish had been a good portion! :) I would like the fish a little less greasy and the coleslaw is tasty but could be more, it's a very small portion. We will be back as I heard they also have excellent mea pies.

Great traditional style pub and food. Dog friendly heated and covered patio was a winner to refuel after our Pacific Spirit walk with the pooch

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday about 6 pm. PRIME RIB!!!! I love Prime Rib Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Ambiance was British Pub. relaxing, not loud. felt like I was at home. So went back Saturday for Brunch, which was also excellent. This is my go to if in that area. sadly not often. May have to make special trips!

What a nice cozy place! We stopped for a beer after a hike and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was so friendly and the food was great. The wings were flavourful and crispy In a city full of pretentious bars and pubs it was so nice to find a place like this.

So glad this place is still open, hopefully for many more years to come. A welcoming place and a true pub that has something for everyone, very family friendly with a great kids menu. Food is very good and made with fresh ingredients and a lot of love, both my guests and myself have never had a bad meal here. Finished our meal off with a sticky toffee pudding which was amazing. The service is great, it is real and unpretentious. Atmosphere is just perfect for me, dated yes but always clean and frankly I love the look of the place. A true gem that people may overlook but should give a try, you will not be disappointed. Real pints and strongbow in a can, important for those in the know.
