Very good experience for us. We enjoyed the cod with fries and mushy peas along with the chicken and leek pie. Both were delicious and a very hearty portion! The cask ale was smooth. The interior was very clean and comfy and the restrooms were very clean. Lots of parking in the rear. This is on our list to visit again when we return to the area.

???? Absolutely delicious! Martin is a very talented chef! We came in late and we were seated and my husband and I had such a lovely evening out. The Tropical and Fire ale was amazing. We will be back again. And when we come back, we hope to know what the green jam from Africa is called ???? ???? ???? No picture since we scarffed it down. Prawn and Cod bake and Steak amazing!!! ????

Been here nearly every Friday since they opened. The owners are really nice and get to know their customers. It’s super family friendly and open to bigger crowds, the staff are all excellent. Compared to the last time they were open, it 100% feels like a new place. I’ve been living in the UK for the last 4 years and this is the best food I’ve had since being here, tried quite a few things on the menu and have enjoyed absolutely everything. I went here when the last owners ran it, and the new version of this pub far surpasses any past reviews. If I could rate this higher I would! I will keep coming back here and telling everyone about the great experiences I’ve had here.

Upon arrival signage requested to use the back entrance, front entrance blocked by a very large chalkboard. When entering via the back door and walking through the bar I was greeted with "we're fully booked". No hello or how may we help you? I asked if I could eat in the bar but did not feel wanted or welcome, I found myself a seat and waited to be approached. Shortly after getting myself comfortable the same woman started waving a piece of paper at me from behind the bar "saying here's your lunch menu". With the shocking customer service I decided to go spend my money elsewhere.

Just had a very good lunch here with friends. We all enjoyed our sandwiches/baguettes, absolutely delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. We will be back.
