Unfortunately both me and my son had a very badly upset stomachs following eating the same food yesterday in the pub. (Spag bol) I have eaten here before and always been lovely but as we both had the same food I can only assume it’s the common denominator. Lovely pub with lovely staff but sadly this has put me off eating there again.

A hidden gem.... dinner for7 today. choice not vast but for a pub the food was really good and excellent value. with friendly prompt service, reasonably priced drinks in an historic building, with log fire in the cosy recreation flagstoned room, bar, and eating room, loads of parking half mile off the sandwich bypass.

Was here for a local funeral, always find this venue a very helpful and friendly no matter what the Occasion. Also find the staff are respectful, especially on days like today.

Such a friendly atmosphere from staff and punters. Amazing food, really good portions and tasty too. Spot on!

Lovely pub. Spacious layout and good pub food. It was pretty empty but then it was a Wednesday so a bit hard to gauge the atmosphere.
