Great country pub only open Fri - Sun after 17:00 but well worth a visit. An extensive menu and a warm welcome seem to be the norm with a good mix of clinetele. Great for families and dog friendly, too. Lovely Penine Pale on tap for ale lovers and a good selection of gins. Ample car park and camping nearby.

We were staying in the village and were told the food at The Fox Inn made it well worth a visit. We were not disappointed! There's a lovely atmosphere in the pub, where children and dogs are welcome. The wide variety of food and drinks suit all appetites. I had the Barnsley chops, and my other half had steak. Both were cooked perfectly. My other half is a chef, so quite particular when it comes to food, but he was really impressed with what we had. The pub are only open for food on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, so booking is advisable. But with the warm welcome, great atmosphere and fabulous food, it's well worth the visit.

Easy site to park on good amenities although over the road but clean as least. We booked with pitch up but on arrival there was nobody about or on the phone to check us in after walking about for 20 minutes trying to get hold of someone we just pitched up and spent the night and left in the morning without speaking to any of the site staff. As I said at the start an easy site to stay on
