Last night was my first time visiting The Green Man, for their first "pop up" food nights. This week was Oriental Night.. £20 for starter and main meal.. Excellent food, excellent service... I chose the Thai green curry which was spiced just right. Had a kick to it but not too spicy, and the right type of spice... Best food I've had for years. Highly recommended.. We will definitely returning for more food and drinks.. For Ipa fans, Beavertown is on tap, which is awesome ????????????

Brilliant experience at this lovely pub. We walked down from the circuit and they even arranged to take us back up the hill to the campsite. Food was lovely and we received a very warm welcome on arrival. I had the mushroom risotto which was delicious. Certainly would go back again.

Excellent food great beer, have been twice now and will go many more times for sure. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the pub is very clean and well looked after a very homely feeling place. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great meal ????

Now fully refurbished it is a very friendly and comfortable pub the owner's and staff are very welcoming. I have not had a meal there yet myself but have seen the food being served and it looks very appetising. The beer and lager are kept well. I recommend this pub to anyone, either just for a drink or for a meal, you will be made very welcome. I have now had a few meals and the food is excellent. It's nice that the pub is open more hours now. It is definitely the my local from now on. It's also very child and dog friendly

We had an excellent dinner this evening at the Green Man for father's day. Despite an error with the table booking process, and a restaurant rammed full, they fitted us in specially, and catered to our every need, even though the staff were clearly under huge stress dealing with customers' demands. We were hugely impressed with how they dealt with the situation and kept their cool despite the obvious pressures of the packed bar. They were absolutely lovely and would not see us turned away. The pub itself is beautiful, the portions perfectly sized, the beer good, and the fact they are dog friendly means a huge amount. We will definitely be going back regularly. It really is worth ringing to book a table, though, as the online booking system is not reliable and misleading (it is run externally and is not under the control of the pub management).
