The Grizz Jasper

The food is great, although I have had an issue with my order every time I’ve been able to look past it as the foods good and they just opened trying to still iron some problems out. Unfortunately they have lost a customer today. I can’t look past their employees ignoring me sitting right in front of them waiting to order while they take 3 phone orders, and address someone else who walked in after me. After about 10 minutes of being ignored I left. Great food but they need to work on their customer service if they want to survive on JPL property especially considering their guests are very limited for the most part.

Really great little pub tucked away near the planetarium and staff residences. If you're looking for a break from the usual expensive meals at the Lodge and in Jasper, try out The Grizz. The burgers are BIG, cheap (a ridiculous $6.25 for a basic burger), and delicious, and the pizzas are super cheesy with lots of toppings. I had a cheeseburger with an extra patty, and it was bigger than I needed. The single would have been perfect. 2 large caesar salads came with delicious garlic toast, tasted great, and was the right amount for 4 people. Staff were super friendly too ????. We came just for takeout during the COVID pandemic, but it's probably busy in the evenings normally. This is the 5th time I've been to JPL, and the first time I've heard of The Grizz. Try it!

Ordered from in town, by the time I arrived the lovely lady inside had it waiting for me, and boy did it smell good. Got back to hotel with it and the wife and I absolutely demolished it. What a steal of a deal on the prices as well!!! Will definitely be back. Wife had a chicken ceaser wrap and I had a bacon cheeseburger with a curly fry poutine for dessert. They just need a big sign for the place as it's tucked in with the staff residents and a little difficult to navigate if your not familiar with the area or at night.
