Intimate setting inside, I'd call for reservations between Thursday and Saturday, looks like it gets pretty busy. The giant pretzel was delicious, fresh and hot. My friends and I all had burgers, really really good quality meat made to perfection. For dessert I recommend the chocolate lava cake with strawberry ice cream on the side. They were out of the coconut cake but I'm sure that's delightful too. Wait staff was attentive and nice.
We went there for dinner on a Wednesday.. I kind of hate to draw attention to this place as I like it quiet but this is a GEM of a place. We sat in the bar but could have easily been in the formal dining (or in the summer months out on the deck. The bar us reminiscent of a European pub. My short rib Sheppard pie was excellent and my daughter was impressed with the size and taste of her rooster burger. And of course my wife's Caesar salad with salmon was a hit.... overall a wonderful Place.
We had a late lunch on a beautiful, fall day out on the deck behind the Inn. Our server celebrated us and really added to our experience. We had salads which were very nice and just as described - Thai salad with mixed greens, finely diced mango, seared tuna slices and Asian dressing on the side. American-style menu (sweet, creamy, rich), but extensive enough to please most. Gorgeous, historic building right at the edge of the boulder-filled French creek. You can't beat the atmosphere. Totally worth it!
