Stopped in at the food truck court at the Blacksmith Public House, in Redmond. We were visiting the area over the weekend with family. I decided to order from the Kilted Kitchen, as their Shepard Pie offering attracted my attention. So, we ordered the Sheppard's pie and the Scottish fries with BBQ chicken. There are several food trucks/trailers arranged in the patio area of the public house, offering a variety of foods. For a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't too busy, surprisingly. We picked up our food, sat down and enjoyed! I have to say, I really liked the flavors and presentation of the Sheppard's pie. And the portion size. I finished it, but I was stuffed. So good. And, the Scottish fries were a hit, also. So good! Glad we tried this place.
The brisket and pulled pork is amazing. Wonderful truck, always incredibly pleasant and personable. The blacksmith public house has great vibes to enjoy a drink while eating their food. If you didnt know they offer fries with pork/brisket on top and its amazing.
Although I was hoping for a fried chicken sandwich, the chicken sandwich had smoked, pulled chicken that was yummy. And the fries! The fries were fantastic and the dipping sauce was very flavorful. Definitely recommend and look forward to trying their other menu items.
Had a great lunch from here while in town. The brisket fries were good, somewhat underwhelming. The scotch egg was fantastic and for sure one of the better ones I’ve had. The area this trailer is located in is a nice spot ha g out by the fire and have a beer.
Let me tell ya, this is where you wanna go for Brisket. Nowhere else in the area has even come close. The BBQ in this area has really taken a backseat, with little to no options. Kilted kitchen served me a meal that pleased every taste bud. Brisket, bun, steak fries, slaw, and an unbeatable fry sauce. It's always nice to see a truck take real pride in their food.
