Been here several times and the food and service have always been very good, but this past Friday night was horrible. Took 20 min or longer to get drink order, food took over an hour to get and food was cold. Bake potato was so cool it would not melt butter. Salad bar has been reduced to what it used to be. Probably will not go back and will not recommend to people like I have in the past

A quintessential southern Americana dining experience for me, an out of towner, taken here tonight for my first time courtesy of my in-laws. Sufficient portions of solid and reasonably priced food served up quickly by down to Earth friendly staff (plus the busser was hustling turning over those tables!). I had that special burger with onion rings that were a winner, some of my wife's catfish, and a piece of key lime cheesecake. Tea is good too. Interior is spacious and open while tastefully decorated. Parking lot huge enough to accommodate all y'all's ginormous trucks. Must come back for an actual steak.

Ok. So hear me out… the service is wonderful! The place is clean. I watched the man clean the tables and he was thorough like very thorough with separate wash cloths. The salad bar….. it was fine… it only had 3 dressings. I had the filet, my husband had the special which was a 10 oz ribeye, 6 shrimp friend or grilled, side and salad. Filet- I requested medium. It was a over done and charred on the outside. Ribeye- it was under cooked. He requested medium as well. We did not send them back or say something we ate it and left it like it was. Fried shrimp was great. We both got the potatoes with stuffing. They were fine. I will make a recommendation though to clean the outside of them really well and add a little oil and salt and pepper to them. We opted for a dessert and I grabbed a plain cheesecake… it was thick. It was very cold so basically it crumbled while trying to eat it. We drove around 45 min to get there. Will I do it again, no. I would eat there again. Just not worth the drive for us.
