Farmer's market was on so it was packed, bit of a wait in the food but the staff, despite working flat out, were lovely. Had the breakfast, a bit more expensive than the supermarket café but much better and everything we ordered got to us eventually. Good atmosphere too, it's been a few years since I've been in but it won't be so long next time

I had a double shot latte and was very impressed - much better than Costa. Service was good. Sitting outside in the warm sunshine watching the people of Stone go about their business was an excellent way to spend a spare hour.

I would normally give them 5 stars but was really disappointed today with the meals & the milkshakes. I ordered scampi but it was big prawns which were really hard & my husband's fish was overdone. The milkshakes were in small glasses not the normal ones.

I will be writing to the manager. A very poor experience today. A long wait, in excess of 40 minutes just for 3 latte coffees and a tea for 1. When they arrived there was no sugar or milk provided. The service staff were as polite as they could be with so many customers annoyed that they had paid for their drinks and had such a long wait. Employ more staff, especially on Farmers Market day when your venue will have more customers. We directed quite a few people to Granvilles where they are better prepared and where we will spend our money in future. Very little consideration for customers.

So much potential.. The food is great 90% of the time, and it's in a great location though it could do with some better seating outside, the current stuff is wobbly, broken and dirty and for some reason, not in the sun. The staff are happy to provide water for dogs though which is good. The inside is cosy with good music and so it's a good spot to stop for lunch.. But the prices are a bit high. Avoid the toilets.
