Moved to the area recently and already this pub has made me very welcome. Brilliant community spirit and highly recommended for its pleasant and helpful staff. Large bar area, with ample seating and tables through the pub's various sub divisions. Family orientated and dogs welcome, so long as they're kept on leads. Busy most days but especially at weekends, with live music most Sunday afternoons. Excellent venue for quiz nights and games activities. Large garden area with ample tables and seating including a covered small barn. No hot meals just the usual snacks, but customers are welcome to bring in their own food and takeaways as plates and cutlery are provided. Good mix of beers, lagers and bottled drinks. You don't have to live in Bowthorpe to appreciate this place - seriously worth a visit and chances are you'll want to return again and again. Great feel good factor in the hugely social atmosphere.

Very rough, staff are nice but the bar flies think it's fight club. Stay clear ,no place for a family meal. Needs a fresh start . The Norfolk Inn good.

Only go there if Rachel is working as she livens the place up. Prices are good and people are mostly friendly plus it's a good size x

Good sized pub. No contactless. Pool table. Darts. Good music. Cheap pints and always looking to do things like karaoke. Didn't think there was pub quiz night.
