Was looking on google maps for a pub to stop off on a long drive home, this place wasn’t far off route and looked good so decided to try it. So glad I did! Lovely staff, the food was excellent, not too busy or too quiet, just right for a relaxing rest ???? Will definitely return if I am passing the area again ????

Had a mixed grill , first the sausages were to die for and the meat cooked beautifully steak to my preference, chips crispy cooked to perfection, my friend had a burger on pretzel bun was well price for money , and the beer is tasty , definitely will be back and telling everyone

Good food for great prices. Been coming to The Oak for years and never had bad service. The Chicken Sizzler is one of my favourite dishes. You have to order at the bar and they bring your food to the table but it makes it easy if you're in groups and wanting to pay separately. Good selection of drinks available too. Will definitely be back.

Great pub grub, huge portions, lovely food, well worth a visit, value for money, and will visit again. Great service, great staff.

Very busy at visit but was seated in conservatory atea where only one other table occupied with quite a noisy family. Waited over 1hour for food after ordering. Food good. But we felt a bit forgotten about. Police prescence there when leaving as something had happened at bar so glad we were not inthat room as had a child with us. Well done Oak staff for dealung with a teicky situation well. Happynew year
