Really helpful staff, and a great room for a live band on a Friday night, with plenty of room for a dance too. Loads of parking, and an easy load in for bands. The new young manager is doing a great job, the pub looks smart and he is a proper barman. Even went to find a schooner glass for the brown ale, how rare is that, and "plays" the beer pumps with both hands and multiple glasses so you rarely wait long to be served.

Great bar. Serves food and has live music on a weekend and buskers through the week

Since the pub has recently been taken over we thought we would try it out for tea with friends. It did not disappoint. Food was amazing and the staff were great. Great choice on the menu, something for every taste
