Great pub with super friendly staff. All beers are from nottingham brewery on site so are fresh and tasting great. EPA was tasting fantastic when I last visited. Great selection of more trad styles like bitter and milds. Wonderful cob selection made to order and various food provided during quiz night.

Real pub, real ale, real fires for real people. Tap bar for adjoining Nottingham Brewery in a historic building with a car park & walled garden. Don't be scared to go to Radford, jump in a taxi & have a proper pint poured by the lovely Cathy. You can also order real ale for your party! Shame that the new owner has changed the taste of the EPA, it now has a slight roasted flavour which is not for me. It tastes like one of the experimental ales that were featured at the Nottm Beer Festival.

Popped into this hidden gem on the way home from work with my husband on a whim as we'd passed by and been intrigued previously but not called in. This is a proper 'old' style pub (with brewery)- no frills - but friendly and very welcoming. Tucked away amongst the modern student buildings. It was clear the beer was well kept and the service was delivered with a smile by Lee behind the bar. We really enjoyed this impromptu visit and will definitely be back. Wish it was our 'local'.

Great Staff & Emily was super helpful! Nice atmosphere, not too wild and food a really decent price
