Lovely pub in a beautiful village. Food was great and the place was clean and tidy. Another time at The Plough and once again great food. Customer care very good
This is a lovely country pub very reasonably priced as the food and drink is excellent quality. We had the rump streak it was cooked to perfection very tender and tasty. The staff are very polite and helpful we will be back for more highly recommended.
Pub has changed hands during lockdown. Disappointed. First time back since lock down. Menu was very disappointing. Not a lot of choice. Food was awful. Haddock and chips was only just that. A lot of batter and not much fish. Very dry, tasteless and not really that cheap. Without the chips it would have been a complete disaster. My wife left some of her lasagne dish. She was not impressed. The service was so desperately slow we were tempted to just walk out and not bother. Truly got fed up of waiting. Considering how hospitality has suffered during Covid, this was not a good experience. My £30 would have been better spent elsewhere? The beer garden could do with a strimmer and mower for good effect outdoor eating. Won't be doing it again anytime soon. Previous Tennant. Wonderful country pub. Well appointed interior. Food is superb, politely served and in good time and cooked to perfection. Drinks and food are not over priced. Menu is uncomplicated but genuine and a good selection of drinks and REAL ales. What else do you want from a pub. Top marks for a pleasant experience. Well worth a visit especially if you fancy a run out in the countryside.
