We stopped for a pint after a walk along the river Aire. Service at the bar was swift and the staff very friendly. We sat outside, as we had two soggy dogs with us. Lots of people sat outside too. Plenty of seating and dog friendly. Child friendly too with a grassy area and sweet machines. Could do with some dog water bowls. We didn't eat so can't comment on food but we had two good pints.
It was OK if you just want a quick drink and comfort break. No food served which is very disappointing. I had a ten pound note in my hand as I ordered my drink, the lady clearly saw it but still proceeded to put it through as card payment! Mind boggles
The Railway Pub: A charming haven with warmth from both the crackling log fire and the genuinely friendly staff. It's a dog-friendly paradise, perfect for a post-winter-walk drink. The only mystery? The elusive Scotch Tart – a culinary enigma that even the locals can't decipher. A dash of delicious confusion in an otherwise delightful experience!
Went in yesterday with dogs sat outside ordered drinks at bar 60 ish bloke on didn't want to know I was passing pleasurable conversation no deal, on way out took our drinks and rubbish back into bar and said thank you totally blanked!!!! He was right there total ignorant, if you don't like your job do one
Lovely little pub with a cosy beer garden at the rear. Whilst there I had a pint of Guinness and two pints of Inchs Cider and all tasted great. We will return again for sure.
