Cracking atmosphere in the pub, popped in for a quick pint, locals give the place a great vibe with helpful and friendly staff. Football was on Haswell Keep up the good work

Popped in for a drink this afternoon after a working morning just to sit down and have a chat to discuss a multitude of things with the missus (we just wanted to find a place with a car park and a place to sit). This did just the job. We managed to chew the fat while a good bunch of locals were keeping themselves entertained at the bar - friendly banter all round from the sounds of it. Nice to hear in a day when it all seems to be doom and gloom. Obviously, they are doing something right. All the best to the staff here.

Opening times like a sweet shop Don't open till 4 PM

Jess a member of the bar staff was on her own on this Saturday night and she’s absolutely brilliant. No matter how tiered she must have been serving all these people she kept a smile on her face and stayed professional. A very good meber of staff this pub has employed! Pints are nice and fresh football on every weekend and if you want something else they will go out of their way and put it onto a tv for you. Recommend this pub!!

Glad to see this place back open. I used to frequent this pub in the mid eighties and beyond. Plenty of people in enjoying the football, no shortage of screens. Very friendly staff and good beer. I will visit again soon
