This is how pubs should be, old decor with bits and pieces of interesting tools and local photos. The landlord and landlady were super friendly and treated us so well. The food is not trying to be haute cuisine, just proper food done well and served in decent portions. My ham egg and chips was great, and the apple crumble and custard was delicious. Thanks for a lovely pub lunch. It is situated in a great setting with views of the 2 interesting churches next door. We came on a windy day in spring but in better weather the extensive garden would be amazing. Price point quoted above includes: 2x drinks each, main meal, and pudding.

At proper old pub, with amazing views from the garden at the back. Unusual beers for Cambridge, Batemen brewery. A great pint of Rosey Nosey, and London Pride was drunk while having a meal. Oh and fix a puncture as well.

Popped in on the off chance, couldnt have been more accomodating, had sunday lunch, everything on the plate was perfect, dessert was sticky toffee pudding, so light and full of yumminess, the coffee was lovely too, i also had a timothy taylor landlord. So completely satisfied. We shall have another visit and utilise the large garden. Hosts were top notch, friendly, attentive and very nice.

A gorgeous pub in a small village. Friendly staff and the most beautiful beer garden. Wish I lived closer but well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Me and my partner had a drink in the beer garden, it was lovely. Very accommodating staff!
