Stepping into this Greek restaurant is like being welcomed into a family home where tradition weaves through the air. The food is exceptional, with a standout homemade tzatziki that sings with garlic and the gyro that marries beef and lamb into a tender delight. Each dish, from the perfectly grilled souvlaki to the juicy burgers salad and secret dressing the authenticity of generations-old recipes. Coupled with the warmth of the staff, dining here is a journey through Greek culinary excellence, preserved and served with passion through history. If there were a sixth star, they would certainly earn it as the top Greek food in town!
We love this place. Souvlaki on a pita or bun with loads of tzatziki is our family favorite. The older gentleman who owns this place is such a gem. Remembers us every time. They also make a great burger!
Today was my first visit to The Slouvaki Pit, I definitely plan on going back. As soon as I entered I was greeted with kindness and good energy, the cashier/ daughter was amazing, loved her! I ordered a chicken dinner and chicken souvlaki on a bun. The food was hot and delicious, the freshness couldn’t be beat! To top things off, its a family run business. I recommend a stop in. Keep in mind that they only except cash.
