The meal was lovely, only one slight complaint and this is just our preference, we do not like butter and milk in mashed potatoes nor do I like roast potatoes. So unfortunately for me, I left my mash,the one thing I had been looking forward to. Also, found they had a poor selection of deserts. Just one to choose from. Ginger sponge and custard,

Having moved to the area about 1 year ago, we went for quiz night. The questions were reasonable for regular quizzers. We came joint 1st with 21/25 and won drinks tokens. My husband was happy with a choice of 2 hand-pulled beers. I was happy with a choice of several premium lagers on tap. The management and regulars are welcoming and friendly.

We went in yesterday afternoon for a Sunday roast a treat on Mother's Day for Lindsay me and Lindsay went also our Thomas and his girlfriend Freya and our Harvey and Chloe and we also took our Cooper and Luna we all enjoyed ourselves and the food was nice

Basic food, good service and value.

Absolutely fantastic. Lovely food well cooked. Friendly staff. Will be returning but will book.
