First time visiting for many years, great atmosphere, good staff, clean & tidy, will be back.

A good old fashioned pub friendly atmosphere good service

Definitely a "locals" pub, friendly atmosphere and decent prices. They don't do food perse but they do have a little pizza oven that is a nice touch. Unfortunately there's no sky sports or BT sport for football fans however they do have pool & darts with local teams competing regularly. The jukebox has a decent selection and they have a disco on at the weekend.

What a dive,artec on the walls and ceilings, all that's missing is sawdust on the floor

Great as usual, probably the best after work before you get home n deal wit the wife n kids on a Friday night pub in the world. Its just honest, working class HONEST, and Jackie is a goddess behind the bar
