This is a really nice place to have lunch and a drink. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by our friendly host. Menu choice was very good and included a good range of vegetarian options. The Idle Brewery made IPA was perfect!

For me a really tasty mince beef pie with chips and lots of gravy and very nicely cooked fish and chips for my wife. Proper pub food and their superb Idle Digger. Lovely atmosphere with a selection of well behaved dogs.

Love this pub! If ever we are in the area we make a point of visiting. Superb food, all of the finest quality, cooked to perfection. I recommend their fish and chips meal! Staff are lovely and the locals friendly. The pub also is linked to a micro brewery who provide a nice pint from the range of Idle beers they serve. What is not to like? A gem of an English village pub that I am delighted to recommend to anyone pondering on a visit!

Had a meal for my Birthday today, the food was excellent, service was top notch, staff was 5 star. Highly recommend the biscotti cheese cake, could have eaten another portion . Beer first class. Pint of Digger 5* Will definitely come back again Nigel and Gina xx

Just visited for a quick pint and to see what it's like. We walked 30 minutes from our campsite to a nice place and had a nice pint each of there stout which was spot on and a reasonable price at £3.10 a pint. Inside we were welcomed and told dogs were welcome in the bar area and outside in the the beer ???? garden which has a large teepee in it. Clean and tidy. Hope to return for some food. Sadly not able to visit again to sample food but if in area would return.
