Went here for the carvery on a Sunday. There were 9 of us altogether and the bill came to just over 200 pounds. This included drinks and a small starter. You are not restricted to the carvery there are other menu choices which our group took up. The staff were efficient and friendly. Plenty of parking in the car park. This a popular place so I would advise booking in advance.

We've had several meals here while our kitchen was being refurbished, and we've we've been coming here for occasional meals out for years. Food is always nice and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We usually have the carvery which is usually good. Our only niggle - I can't call it a complaint - is the price of soft drinks, but that seems to be common wherever you go these days and not something to hold against the White Swan.

Went to the White Swan with friends we all had steak & it was dicusting the steak was full of fat & grisly & you couldn't eat it. We told the waitress & she said she would have a word with the chef she never came back to us. We asked to see the manager & all he said was he would take 50% of the bill, we said OK but it was really awful & ruined our meal. We were going to have a dessert but we decided we wouldn't & we want some where else. We have never had steak so horrible. Will not go back to the white swan.

They are super dog friendly here. They have a dedicated doggy menu board, and treats. The atmosphere is very friendly, and the seating is cosy by the fire, and comfortable everywhere else. On separate occasions we have visited the carvery (no dogs in the restaurant area), which has also been good quality and friendly staff.

This place was very busy and had clearly had some issues with flooding in early January. However it was very well run with the staff being friendly and attentive despite being very busy. The only evidence of the flooding was several items of ruined furniture outside awaiting disposal. Inside was clean and well maintained. Being a large party, we expected a long wait but we were served very quickly. The food was tasty and fresh and ranks in my top five of carveries. Plenty of parking and very child friendly.
