This is my second time going to this Salon, and I literally LOVE what they have done in both visits, specially this last time. I wanted something discrete but pretty for a wedding and they nailed it.

I have been going to this nail salon off and on for years. I love my bio gel nails! However, my last visit was THE last visit. Here’s why: 1. 7 days after my bio’s were put on, my left pointer “popped” off. Went back. They were going to charge me. I refused, but they did fix it. 2. 2 days after that, my ring finger nail “popped” off. *sigh* I went back in. Gave me to the gentleman who did my nails. He glued it on! A few days later it lifted and came off taking a portion of my nail bed with it. Yuck. 3. 4 days after that, my right pointer and middle finger nail came off. *double sigh* I went back in. Showed a woman my nails and they were going to charge me! I could not explain clearly enough that this was an error on their part. In fact, they blamed me. They said they will charge me $20. I refused then conceded to $10. They refused. They could not fit me in for an hour so I stated I would come back. I just took them off myself. Less hassle. Women and people talk. From the reviews I read, it is nice to know I am not the only one who experienced this. Definitely, definitely, definitely taking my money elsewhere.

I’ve gone here a few times and so has my family but their last experiences were terrible. My mother had a pedicure and her feet still hurt because the lady kept digging under her nails on the sides and she said it was quite painful. My daughter just had her feet done and the lack of attention to detail was horrible as they missed putting a top coat on two of her toes. The last time I had a gel fill done and the gentleman sanded down my skin a few times instead of the nail. The workers need to pay more attention to what they are doing. Also, walking in you used to be greeted with a friendly smile but when I walked it, the lady at the front desk looked miserable. I don’t think we’ll be coming here anymore, even if it’s conveniently in the neighborhood. Update: just slightly after one week I f getting my nails done, why was I able to peel off the gel refill like a press-on nail? I’m never coming back. What a waste of my time and money

I used to come here all the time when it first opened, however given that friends/family coincidently ended up with infections after receiving services , I chose not to risk it & went elsewhere. Fast forward to 6-8 years later, I decide to give it a try in hopes that my experience might be different & things may have changed. Firstly, they are ridiculously expensive for absolutely no good reason, however if my service is done very well & I leave happy, I can swallow the price difference from other salons. My last 2 visits have left me with such a bitter taste, I don't see myself returning here again.Second last appointment: I asked for bio gel overlay refill , both times they manage to sneak in a dry cuticle cut that I didn't authorize ( 1st I bleed, 2nd time my finger nails are so sore as I leave this review). I left my visit somewhat pleased at the results, despite the "manicure" I didn't ask for. That same evening, I notice my nails are turning almost a yellow looking color (If I were a smoker I could imagine my nails this way, but i'm not) I returned the next day to be told it must be something I used like a cleaning product ( It wasn't mind you) & yet I got charged an additional $20 , but really I shouldn't have to pay anything HOURS after my initial appointment.Fast forward to yesterday, few weeks later : My daughter and I both got shellac pedis ( this took the tech 15 minute tops ) they looked good so despite the express service I got, I didn't mind. I went on to finishing my bio gel refill that Bonnie started on me as I was receiving my pedicure ( not exactly the most relaxing way to have your feet done , while twisting and turning as I have my hands worked on at the same time by the tech sitting to my left ) Upon finishing up, I notice she's rushing and appears annoyed as I tell her I'm not a fan of the color ( mind you she only painted 1 nail not all 10) I decide to go with a color I brought from home, maybe this time it won't turn yellow like the last . I use the washroom before leaving, and noticed in this better lighting my nails appear blotchy as if it's really thick and done poorly. Before leaving I point this out to a different tech because Bonnie zoomed out before I could bring this to her attention. The tech calls her to tell her the issue. I tell the tech I am not going to make her come back for me, I can return tomorrow. She apologizes and tells me tomorrow is fine, simply call before arriving to ensure Bonnie is available. I arrive today , I explain the issue to the owner and she as well as the tech give me the run around how it's the polish ( I've never had this issue before using this polish from home ) I would say 4 nails out of 10 we're OK. Given that the "polish is the problem" I ask for them to be repainted , however I am told only some need buffing and repainting( Oh and I have to use the same "problem polish") . At this point i'm not being heard & i'm annoyed ...but what really got me was how rude and unprofessional Bonnie was with me. Grabbing my hand, speaking to me like a 3 year old, huffing and puffing not to mention if looks could kill I would be dead on the floor. The owner is noticing this behaviour however I can't say she addressed it or not since I dont speak the language . $180 later between myself and my daughter and this is what I have to put up with ? no thanks, I won't be returning here, not in a few weeks and not in a few years.
