Honestly I’m disgusted with this salon. I was told that a full head of highlights starts at $225, I already knew that was roughly what I was going to be paying because I do have thick hair. I’ve gone to school for hair as well as worked in the industry for quite some time. The stylist I had was shaqilla, the consultation went great, she seemed to have a good understanding of what I wanted based on what I currently had, and also mentioned to her I’ve had some horrible past experiences at other salons. hair with my highlights brought up, not a fan of warm Color’s.. Once she pulled the foils out I could already tell it needed more time to process as they were bright yellow and ginger on my bang area/ top of my head. She toned, cut and styled and it was two different tones. Icy blonde at the bottom and ginger on the very top of my head. I went up to pay and then was told it was going to be $450. Horrible service. I got into my car and balled my eyes out. I’ve never been more embarrassed of my hair then at this moment

I had the wonderful pleasure of having my hair cut by Shaquilla today, she listened to exactly what I wanted & the outcome was perfect. I asked for a 90s style Pamela Anderson inspired bangs with face framing layers, bouncy curls and volume. I was also 20 minutes late ( my fault ) and she was extremely gracious about it & still accommodated me. Most stylists wouldn’t & I think that speaks to her character and her caring attitude towards her clients. I will absolutely be booking with her again.

I spent over $500.00 on my hair, including taxes and tip. This included a hair dye, haircut (wash and dry, and a treatment to bring moisture back into my strands). After a week of not washing my hair, to ensure the purple hair dye would properly adhere to my strands I finally washed it. 80% OF THE HAIR DYE COMPLETELY WASHED OUT. This was supposed to be permanent hair dye by the way. After the first week I went to the salon to rectify the issue only to be told the hair had to be re-toned and could only be done by the same “hairstylist” that originally worked on my hair. As someone who doesn’t live close to the studio, and the fact that this hairstylist’s schedule wasn’t very accommodating, it would be another week until I saw her. However, on the day I was supposed to go in to get my hair redone I had a family emergency that came up and it took a while to settle. I tried calling them on the day my hair was supposed to be redone but the studio doesn’t have a voicemail and customers are expected to call back during business hours - what legitimate, professional business doesn’t have an answering machine? How am I supposed to take time out of my day to call them during business hours to notify them properly when I’m dealing with a family emergency? Oh and when I called back a week later (once the emergency was resolved) they informed me that because three weeks had passed they would have to charge me for the toner. Mind you, they took photos of my hair a week after the dye came out… so charging for additional toner when I already spent over $500 dollars for a hair service that should have worked out the first time is absolutely disgusting. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! It’s no wonder they have an F rating on the better business bureau website.

An AMAZING stylist by the name of Sou did my hair today. He gave my too long, dried out hair it’s life back with a two tone purple balayage cut and style. Sou took her time to make sure the process was perfect the whole way through and really made sure to ask me what I wanted we took my preferences to heart and also gave her professional opinion that helped me to choose the direction I took my hair and eased my anxiety with such a big change after many years of not cutting my hair.
