Top Notch Motel & Restaurant

We had a nice stay here while working in town. The staff were amazing.. super friendly, hard working, and catered to our needs. They run a breakfast/brunch restaurant next door, and it's extremely affordable and well made. Our waiter Karen was very sweet and made our day every morning. I think some of the motel guests can be a little sketchy at times, but that's out of their control. The rooms were big, clean, decently sound proof with block dividing walls, flat screen tv, mini fridge, microwave, sliding door in the back for access to a nice patch of green space with a fire pit, chairs and a stream.. pet friendly too! It's close to downtown, short 10 minute walk, 2 minute drive. Thanks Top Notch!

This review is for the restaurant. My family has been camping in Sauble area for years and a friend mentioned the breakfast at Top Notch. I have to admit I’ve driven by there thousands of times over the years but never stopped. This weekend we went for breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it. My eggs Benny was perfect and my husbands hungry man breakfast was also cooked exactly how he likes it. The restaurant was like time traveling back to my grandmas house in Owen Sound. Very vintage and eclectic with antiques and gilt framed art work. Collections of all kinds of things adorn the walls and the back special event room is filled with treasures. William was a charming and gracious host! The prices were also very good as was the coffee. Thanks for a lovely breakfast!! ????

We weren't guests at the motel. This review is for the restaurant only. Server William did an awesome job being the only server, busboy and cashier in the jam-packed restaurant. Excellent service William, thank you. Oh and the food was good too.
