Nice little pizza joint! First time there... tried the buffet. They only have 3 pizzas on there at a time, but they are replaced instantly; they are basically in a window to the kitchen. Never had to wait at all! So, the pizza... it's a thin crust, sort of New York style, floppy pizza. Not at all soggy though! This is my favorite style anyway, so I lucked out. Now, this place seems to specialize in sauces! I may not be a gourmand, but I do love the sauces they have: the regular marinara style sauce is a little sweet, just how I like it. The chicken bacon Ranch (white sauce of course) is excellent! The BBQ sauce pizza was my favorite, though. I also tried a spicy chicken pizza that was good, but nothing special, I guess. Didn't try any dessert pizza, as those things don't really appeal to me. The ambiance is cool, a refurbed gas station with dark brick interior. Set up like a sports bar with tvs all over. Super cold A/C (very important in SOWEGA). Nice patio with tables and a small stage. Price for the buffet was a little high, but not terrible, and it includes a soda fountain drink. Overall a great place! I highly recommend if you are in, or going through Sylvester. Right across from the city Square.
Pizza was superb! Wings were great too. The staff was wonderful. It was cash only while we were there but that wasn’t a major deal. We dined in and it’s really wonderful!
The pizza is edible, but I've had much better frozen pizza. Domino's is unfortunately slightly better. The slices are flimsy and the dough is way too chewy and gummy.
Updated review. I gave a very positive review after my first visit here. The wings were sized perfectly and the pizza was okay. I've have two more orders since, and will never buy from here again. The second and third time I bought wings, they were huge globs of fat and skin with broken bones, and are not tossed in sauce and several had no sauce on them at all. I also got a 12 inch pizza that was a soggy greasy mess. Pizza requires crust guys. To add insult to injury, I was charged $36 for 12 wings and a 12 inch 3 topping pizza, and ended up throwing well over half of all of that in the trash. No one wants this nasty mess.
Let me lead by saying, the Betty salad is AMAZING. The "Buffalo butterballs" taste like pure dough, not sure where the Buffalo comes into play. They are also pretty dry with no option of sauce. When asking for marinara, it was brought to us and THEN we were informed that it's an additional dollar? The workers weren't particularly friendly or forthcoming. When walking in the door, they just stared at us. A small "hey, how are you?" can go a long way. Also, given that they serve alcohol, it would make sense to have at least one person of age at the front in order to serve it instead of waiting for them to find someone old enough to serve a drink. The food was decent (maybe a little overpriced, a child's size drink is 2.25 and you get no lid in order to take it with you) the staff could definitely be given a lesson in customer service.
