I am a photographer, so I like to go an sit in the parking lot an take photos of the semi's. This a great spot for big Rig Photography as it is located right on an intersection of Highway 6 and 421.. 421 will take you to either Indy direction or towards I80 an 94 as well.. Highway 6 can go towards the steel mills in Gary an burns harbor or the other direction towards Kingsbury, Walkerton, an towards Knox, Plymouth direction..

Needed a cash advance to run the toll road. Could only get one if I bought fuel. Any other place would’ve charged a small fee and I could’ve been on the road. What happened to the days when truck stops actually served drivers? Just another foreign owned dump. I won’t stop here again

Alot of room for parking, but they charge way to much for stuff. A 12 pack of soda cost over 10$ here.

Honestly, on this stop, I just got fuel and my regular 20 ounce bottle of diet Dr Pepper and used the bathroom. I had no issues at all. The clerks were nice and also liked and acted in a professional manner. The parking lot and fuel islands were clean and we'll kept. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean and toilet paper and hand towels were stocked as it should be. The drinks were well stocked in the cooler for the most part. There was just one thing wrong. The clerk suggested a fresh pre-made sandwich out of the cooler, so I grabbed one, tuna salad, the date was about 2 weeks past. It was not only not fresh, but way past expired. Checked them all, every one was expired! Just check your dates, and you should be fine. She apologized and removed them. It really wasn't a big deal. I didn't really want one anyway.
