Best authentic Salvadorean food, pupusas, fry fish, corn tamales, chicken tamales, were delicious, after been on a road trip and eating bad fast food, I found this place and meet my expectations, the restaurant is very humble and food is just soo tasty. Stuff and owner are very friendly .
Great service! Very polite! Great pricing too! The food was fresh and made to order! I got 20 pupusas all diff types and they were all amazing!! The cabbage and red sauce was also great and everything tasted so fresh! Will DEFINITELY be going back there!!
GREAT HOME COOKED MEAL FOR ALFONSO PRICE, I LOVE IT.
Liked it enough to go a second time. Friendly folks, even did well with menu help in English. A simple establishment in a very simple strip mall - don't go looking for table linens. Enjoyed the pupusas, tamales, enchiladas and baleadas, and also the yucca-based sweet appetizers/desserts.
Well we went to try their pupusas and tamales as these are some of my favorite Salvadorean dishes. I went with a friend. We sat at a table that seats 4 people. She sat in front of me; leaving the seat to my left and her right empty. One of the waitresses came to clean the table. She cleaned the half where nobody was sitting. Lol no worries, I called for another lady to finish the job. We placed our order! 2 pupusas with cheese and loroco 1 pupusa mixta, 1 tamal de elote and 1 tamal de pollo. They brought out the tamales first and I got my 2 cheese pupusas but somehow they forgot the pupusa mixta. We reordered it, no problem. The tomato sauce was very watered down and flavorless and the green “hot” sauce that the girl brought me was also bland and flavorless. The chicken tamal was tasty but the dough was lacking the right consistency as the tamal had no shape or form. The tamal appeared as a scoop of dough that had been poured on the plate. Not my first choice, but if I have $20.00 and I am hungry I would rather eat bad pupusas than McDonalds!
