Lots of paved and unpaved trails through the quiet woods, beautiful lake shore areas, picnic shelter, huge amount of wildflowers and a Porta potty! Secluded but near Walton ferry road traffic in some areas so not deep into woods.

Beautiful, crunchy trail, paved or trail. Straight to lake bed where it was lowest ever so I got spectacular pictures of the sunset 11/12..

This place is seriously peaceful and serene! I brought my best friend and we had a very nice walk together. Lots of beautiful trees, plants, and bushes. Many little trails to take that are off the paved walkway. Stunning view of the lake, and great little spot to relax and have peace. Looking forward to exploring here again, soon. ?

The Walton Ferry Arboretum Is a great place for a walk in Hendersonville. There are several paths to explore the site, including a lovely trail by Old Hickory Lake. We saw a couple of fisherman along the shore the day we visited. There's not a map of the trails but when we wanted to get back to the car we just kept going left and did not get lost. It has trees that are identified so you can see the differences and a pretty little butterfly garden I look forward to seeing come to life.

A very peaceful place for a walk in nature. Not huge, but nice trails.
