It took quite a long time for the servers to notice us, come to our table to bring us the menu and take our orders; the basket of fries was terrible, the drink was ok. There was also music playing in the background but the volume was sooo low and we couldn't really enjoy it ! We even asked the server to turn it up and she said that she couldn't! Not the best place to hang out for young people...
An Iconic Hamilton staple serving up the best breakfast in town, ice cold pints and some of the most beautifully unique dinner specials you will find around the city. The west towns unpretentious and warm atmosphere caters directly to its community while welcoming newcomers with open arms. There’s always a game on the TV and one of the owners there to greet you with a smile. The owners son Grahm is a big softy and always goes out of his way to make you feel at home. Make sure to ask for “Joe’s famous hot sauce” from his home garden.
Cockroach infestation that is visible at the bar and on tables. They're aware of it but it's bad. Great vibe, friendly service, and reasonably priced food and drinks. Good draught selection. Great side patio with lots of space and a bar/TV setup. Definitely a recommended summer spot in Hamilton!
I usually like to check reviews before going out to eat, but my friend and I walked by this place and gave it a shot since a lot of other places were closed. The outdoor seating area is really nice but that’s probably the extent of how much we enjoyed the place. I got the chicken Parmesan special which didn’t taste that great and the side salad that wasn’t fresh. My friend got the chicken soup and said he’s had better canned soup. I wouldn’t go back.
This place started to nickel and dime its customers, which is too bad. A "Pint" is half size but full price. I ordered a sandwich that arrived missing the cheese, sauerkraut, and dressing. Instead of throwing it out and having it remade, I offered to keep the dish and pay half of the ticket (it still tasted pretty good). Manager shut me down and brought me only half of a new sandwich. Restaurants are dead, cook your own food at home.
