Wow! I'm so glad I came back. A warm welcome as always. Manfred (Mani) is not only a great host but also a fantastic cook. I ordered a glass of wine and asked what he had to eat tonight. It usually changes daily. Well, it was a tough choice between a rump steak and tagliatelle with salmon, like the salmon was ever going to get a look in! The steak was beautifully cooked and served simply with some crusty bread, fried onions, and a knob of herb butter. It was absolutely gorgeous, just as I remembered. Who needs a fancy steak house when you've got Mani cooking. Can't wait to come back.
