Bambarinos

Firstly, this restaurant is cash only so come prepared. The wait staff were lovely, very accommodating, attentive and hard working. The food, however, is another story. There isn't a menu online so I've added a picture of the menu that I was given on the night. The food presentation is... Odd. The salad consists of melon, orange and a bit of cucumber, sometimes on the same plate as the rest of your food. We had cheesy garlic bread for starters which, to be fair, was nice. However the mains were just rubbish. I ordered the tagliatelle marinara; first of all it was on a plate rather than a bowl which is an unusual choice but whatever, it's fine. Unfortunately the sauce tasted like a jar of sweet and sour sauce from a supermarket. It was edible but not enjoyable. The pizzas are probably ok, as well as the meat dishes but be aware of the 'salad'. I personally won't be returning.

Despite an unpretentious exterior the food and service here is great. Steaks are known for being good and cooked perfectly to your needs. Other dishes appeared to be equally appreciated. Interior decoration is adequate and clean but toilet is in need of refurbishment. Remember that this is a cash only restaurant and booking is recommended.

My 1st time here. The peppered steak was delicious and everything that came with it but am not keen on the fruit on the plate. Just my opinion. Will definitely go again. The lady and gent that run it are lovely. He does all the cooking and it was very busy. He does an amazing job.
