Bit guff, portions ok chips aren't really cooked, but if you like em pale that's fine, prices were fine, literally no other competition so not much choice round here, girls don't talk, neither do the locals. Plus points it was hot. I could walk there from campsite
Despite some of the varied reviews on Google some good some poor, I visited Joe's Plaice this evening for a regular fish and chips. 13/4/2023. I found the service fine and my order was freshly cooked. The regular fish was a decent size at £6 and a good portion of reg chips were £2.70, so in keeping with most chip shops. I saw large chip buttys being served at £3, very good value. Help yourself to salt and vinegar. Free parking by the shop. Photo of the menu taken this evening too. Yes I would recommend Joe's.
Cracking little fish and chip shop just over the road from the parkdean Sunnydale caravan park we stayed at in the October half term break. Walked in and ordered and everything was freshly cooked for us. All the food was REALLY nice and a decent price and the two ladies behind the counter were very happy and friendly. If we visit this neck of the woods again we will definitely head back here as well.
