Noodles were delicious and served quickly. Flavour of the broth here is more savoury and spicy than other lanzhou noodle chains I’ve tried so far (flavour wise, I’d say this is my favourite spot!). Side dish we tried was were a bit small. Seating is a bit tight as the space is small so not the most comfortable. There are condiments such as vinegar available but not on table, you will need to ask for it.

GB Hand-Pulled Noodles I visited GB Hand-Pulled Noodles for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant is cozy, with limited seating, so arriving before noon is advisable to secure a spot. The deciding factor was photos showcasing a chef kneading dough and pulling noodles on-site. However, I was slightly disappointed to find that the noodles were pre-made. The menu is straightforward, offering a diverse selection of dishes. I opted for the house special, while my friend chose the beef brisket. Our meals were served promptly, featuring hot soup and fresh ingredients. For those who appreciate a bit of heat, be aware that their original spicy oil is relatively mild; you may want to request a spicier option. The noodles had a good balance of tenderness and chewiness, suggesting they were freshly prepared. The beef slices, although thin, reminiscent of what one might expect at a ramen establishment, did not detract from the overall quality of the meal. The dining experience at GB Hand-Pulled Noodles combines the ambiance of a sit-down restaurant with the affordability of food court pricing. The staff are notably friendly and efficient, contributing to a pleasant dining experience.

The soup is definitely the best in Toronto, I just keep coming back for it. The soup is so refreshing and tasty, not as heavy and thick as other ramen places. They recently updated their menu and added a bunch of new items, the super thin noodles have finally made a return. Been a long time customer here ever since they opened, definitely my go to place for a light and heartfelt meal.
