Much work has been put in to update and modernize this hotel. It has a comfortable relaxed atmosphere with artistic flare and embellishments. The foyer is large and inviting with seating areas throughout. Decorations are very nice for the season yet don't take away from any floor space needed by guests. The lounge is very relaxed with mixed lighting adding to the depth of the space. Menu is well priced with a variety of options to suite most fussy of eaters. Rooms are clean with ample lamps and light fixtures, large flat screen TV on multi-directional wall mount, coffee machine, and alarm clock. Washroom is standard with soft towels, toiletries, and hair dryer. Room also has standard air-conditioning and heating at the window. Overall quiet rooms with little to no sounds from neighboring suites to disturb you. I would recommend this location as a good place to stay while visiting the desert oasis with all hell for a basement. I personally will be back here again in the future.

They are under renovation, which I understand, but the price seemed rather high for the unseemly lobby, elevator, and hallways. Rooms were better and functional. Front desk staff helped when they could, but management needs to make sure that a brochure or something is in every guest room so that the guests have somewhere to look for hotel information. As it was, we were expected to remember everything the front desk staff rattled off at check in or call down for each question (like what the pool or breakfast hours are). The pool was usable and pleasant, though a bit chilly, and unbeknownst to us the hot tub was closed. It is a convenient location by the highway and a gas station, though inconvenient for shopping and restaurants. The cost should have been at least $20 cheaper The microwave and large mini fridge were a bit old, but functional and appreciated. Coffee machine was decent though I had anticipated having a variety of coffee pods to choose from after staying at different hotels
