Charming hostess/manager Cathy and her husband chef make this place sing. Wonderful pizza, pasta salads, cappuccino-- fact is, everything Was Great -- so we returned twice. Go before it closes.
I like the food of the L‘Osteria chain in general and it was not my first visit in this location at Munich central station. The pizza I ordered had a very tasty flavor. The only fact I can complain about is, that in this restaurant the staff could try to be a bit more friendly and attentive to guests! But that‘s just my own opinion. I definitely would eat in there again!
The waiter serving us was really hardworking dashing everywhere. He is also friendly but as he is new he messed up our desert. But even that was quickly replaced. Pizza as everyone mentioned is huge, like bigger than your plate huge. It's delicious and the ingredients are generous. Only problem is the crust at the center was a big soft, no idea is it due to too much sauce or its too thin, and it kinda disintegrate when we tried cutting. Made it messy when eating but the taste made up for it. Gnocchi wasn't that good or maybe not to our taste. The sauce was nice. Desert was good. The pear crumble was slightly different from the usual apple strudel that we have been eating for the whole Europe trip. Its a nice touch.
