Lee's Nails

10/28/23: Julie and the team at Lee’s nails helped make my first ever experience getting my nails done a positive one! She helped me choose the Bubble Bath OPI dip powder, and asked me along the way if I liked the nail shape (yes! And she helped explain why a certain nail shape would be more durable over another, etc). I think next time, I’ll ask my nail tech to file down a little more for an even more natural look. I took off one star, because when using the dip powder, no separate cup was used, just dipped my nails directly into the powder. A simple hygiene concern for me, and next time I’ll definitely ask for that service! Otherwise, I’m beyond happy with my experience, and look forward to my next visit! Thank you, Julie and team! Update 11/2/23: my nails have already started to lift. I am deeply disappointed, as I was told dip powder nails would last at least 3 weeks. I’m a social worker and a hobby knitter, so I’m not hard on my nails. Down to 2 stars. This was my first experience getting my nails done, and I will not be returning.

I have been to a few nails salons in Charlottesville and every time I get my nails done it reminds me of why I hate getting my nails done. So today I decided to go to Lee’s nails to get a dip manicure. They were pretty busy but Julie was able to squeeze me in. And she is so amazing. During filing, she asked if it hurt, she asked if I like the color and shape throughout the process. Even though they were super busy, Julie still took the time to pay attention to the small details and it didn’t feel rushed. I will definitely be returning but next time I will make an appointment.

I just left the salon, and I’m telling you, this truly is the best my nails have ever looked. Dimonique (I really hope I’ve spelled that right) got my really difficult nail beds looking perfect, and she paid great attention to detail. I love the color! Very clean, modern, and comfortable. And all of the technicians were very kind. Definitely try them out!
