Pelham Delite

Upon walking in, it took 5 mins to get service or any type of recognition upon sitting down the counter person or waitress was just giving us dirty looks throughout the whole time there. We had to ask for a menu. Ordered the food, and it came pretty quickly to ask for potched eggs and avocado toast. Received potched eggs and pieces of avocado on the side. Potched eggs were great. Coffee was also great. Blt was also good. Did not receive any napkins or water at all. The service was terrible, but the food was good. This review is based on service and the attitude of the waitress/counter person. The chef was the one who got us the menu

Day after Mother’s Day. Went in to get an egg and cheese it was done in a minute although asked for a fresh sandwich. Where the cheese. There more bread then anything else. Then asked how much a lb is the cookies $15.00 a lb they are crazy when you can see the cookies are dry. While the service is nice and everyone is friendly. The pastries and cookies are often stale. They don’t back up there products says no refunds or exchanges. The Greek pastry I bought were stale. I bought some cookies that so much vanilla in it the nasty taste lingered in my mouth way too long. They started selling food now but the people who sit to eat are loud and outright rude. On the speaker phone screaming talking about how they have no money collecting stimulus check and spending buying a lonely tune shirt and getting nails done the other one on disability working off the books. Like I needed to know any of this. Workers said nothing

I ordered a cheesecake and the Spanish girl in the front sells me a frozen one without telling me. She didn’t have any in the front and went to the back and had one left she said. When I called back to ask she is unapologetic, and says of course it is it came out the freezer. How am I suppose to know this!!!! I figured it was in the back fridge. When I told her she should have mention that when I was purchasing it bc I needed for within the hr her response was ok next time I will tell you. I said that’s what u say to a customer that is upset and said ok byeeeee and hung up on me. I was so shocked. I bought stuff from before and after this I won’t be going back. I even asked for a manager and she stated she was one. I highly doubt it!!!
